Escape to a Scenic Beach Front Hideaway

The Pink Dolphin House (aka Sandy Bottom House) is a private home in a residential neighborhood, located approximately 100 ft from the calm Sandy Bay waters on the island of Roatan, Honduras.

  • 5 Sleeping Areas
  • 4 Baths (3 Ensuite)
  • Sleeps 8-10 people (We usually limit renters to 8 people but if more are desired, let us know)

Amenities – A/C throughout and a well-appointed large gourmet kitchen, 6 burner stove, microwave, blender, toaster, waffle iron, panini press, rice cooker, coffee maker and dishwasher. The cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, glasses and cooking utensils

The dining area overlooks the beautiful bay, two interior seating areas, two outdoor decks with beautiful 180° views of the beach and dazzling sunsets. Two kayaks, propane BBQ, washer/dryer, standby generator (power does go out on the island), alarm system, security wall and cameras, safe, TVs, high speed internet, purified drinking water and bacteria free shower and cooking water.

EXPLORE ROATAN

Roatan offers beautiful blue Caribbean water with world class diving/snorkeling on the world’s second largest barrier reef. There are many surrounding dive shops from which to choose.

Other available activities on Roatan – dolphin & shark swims, restaurants, shopping, zip lining, fishing, hiking, golf, rain forest and other tours.

A large supermarket is less than a 5 minute walk from the house. West End, with dive shops, shopping and restaurants is about 10 minutes by taxi or by car.

Our island manager will greet you, show you around the house and be available to answer questions and meet your needs. You will also receive our personal contact information to answer questions prior to your trip and ensure stay exceeds expectations.

There is a refundable $750 deposit and a cleaning fee of $225 for before and after cleanings. Electricity is expensive on the island, approximately $.50/KWH. With you present, our house manager will record your beginning and end meter readings. The cost of the electric you use will be deducted from your deposit and the remainder of the deposit will be returned to you within 30 days of your departure barring damage to the house. Monthly renters are required to pay for electric usage weekly with the last week being deducted from the deposit.

We have a fully insured mini-van which seats 7 available for rental if you wish. There is an extra deposit of $250 for van rental and guests must leave the tank full of gas and no damage upon departure to receive a full refund. Ask for more information when you contact us.

Transportation by our house manager to/from the house, to/from the airport is available at a nominal cost. Taxis are also available at the airport.
